The Project

Meet Galen, the king of Utiak, turning into a novel Ulysses.  Guide him through absurd planets, intricate riddles and weird creatures inspired by Homer’s Odissey.  An epic journey just one click away, on your PC.

How It all began...

Utiak was once very cold and unlivable. Thanks to the Terraforming machines, the climate became much warmer and comfortable, and a new era of prosperity was born.

Unfortunately, the machines are starting to break and deteriorate, while the planet’s resources keep being exploited. The future is inevitable: the planet will revert to its unlivable state in just a few years.

Galen, the king of Utiak, decides to go looking for the materials needed to repair the machines and save his people, venturing in distant places and worlds.

Unfortunately, on his way back from the mission, Galen is caught in an asteroid storm. He tries to activate his engines to escape, but during the process an asteroid hit and damaged them, causing him to crash on an unknown and distant planet.

Will Galen find a way to go back home? Or will he stay trapped in this far away world without being able to save his people?

Game Structure

Objective: Survive and explore alien planets to find the necessary components to repair Galen's spaceship, locate his home planet on a galactic map, and return to Utiak to save his people.

Gameplay: The game is divided into multiple planets, each presenting unique challenges and rewards. Players must explore these planets to find resources, solve puzzles, and overcome obstacles. Progressing to the next planet requires specific items or information acquired on the previous one. While players can revisit previously explored planets, advancement to new ones is restricted until specific conditions are met.

Overall Goal: Guide Galen through a series of planetary adventures to overcome insurmountable challenges, repair his spaceship, and ultimately return home to prevent the catastrophic decline of his planet.

2. extract the file
3. run the file 'Galen's Odyssey.exe'
